STEP 1: PREP
Clean the area with warm soapy water or an alcohol spray/wipe to remove any dirt and dust prior to installing. Dry the area completely with a microfibre.
STEP 2: APPLICATION
Peel the underlay piece (full square) from the backing paper.
Apply the underlay to the badge, to check the position, gently tack in the middle, step back and assess. If you need to move it gently peel off and re adjust.
Once in the correct position, starting from the middle apply pressure with your finger and smooth out in a circular motion moving further away from the centre as you go. If a crease appears, attempt to lift that section of the vinyl and smooth out.
STEP 3: DETAILS
To centre the Honda emblem perfectly, add masking tape on either side and the top and bottom. Peel the Honda logo from the backing paper, using the transfer tape position it and smooth outwards.
STEP 4: FINISHING TOUCHES
Gently peel back the transfer tape to reveal the Honda Badge Overlay. To further assist the vinyl in adhering you can lightly apply heat with a heat gun or hair dryer.
Please note the badge overlay won't completely cover the outer edges of the chrome on the original badge. This is because the depth of the curve makes it hard to for the vinyl to stick down if not done professionally in bulk vinyl.
