STEP 1: PREP

Clean the area with warm soapy water or an alcohol spray/wipe to remove any dirt dust or coatings prior to installing. Dry the area completely with a microfibre. Your kit will come with three pieces, two shorter ones for the outer sides and one larger one for the centre piece.

STEP 2: APPLICATION

Starting with the centre piece, peel the overlay from the backing and position one end where you can see a small join line in the existing front splitter, while also lining up the top edge. Press along the top side of the front splitter to adhere the vinyl to the splitter  working your way along the length of the piece.

Using a squeegee or your finger gently push the top edge into the crevice ensuring it is secured in place. Gently fold the overhang at the bottom edge underneath the splitter.

STEP 3: DETAILS

Repeat the same process with the side pieces, pressing firmly onto the top side while working your way to the other end. There will be a slight excess on the edges that can be trimmed away neatly following the shape at the end of the splitter.

STEP 4: FINISHING TOUCHES

To further assist the vinyl in adhering you can lightly apply heat with a heat gun or hair dryer. Contact us if you have made a mistake and we will happily provide a solution.
