STEP 1: PREP

Wash with factory badge with warm, soapy water to clear road film and wax. Final wipe with 70 % isopropyl alcohol, making sure to get into the recesses of the “V‑W” logo and outer ring.

STEP 2: APPLICATION

Hold the cover over the badge to confirm the “V” sits on top and the locating tabs (if supplied) align with the emblem slots.

Peel backing from the adhesive strips on the inside of the badge. Hover the cover 2–3 mm above the badge. Centre the top of the “V” with the factory “V” peak, then lower the cover straight down.

STEP 3: FINISHING TOUCHES

Press the centre firmly for 10 sec, then work outward around the ring to ensure full contact. Hold pressure Keep steady pressure on the entire cover for a full 30 sec to preload the adhesive tape. 

Avoid washing the vehicle or exposing the badge to heavy rain for 24 hrs while the adhesive tape reaches max strength.
