- This product is applied in multiple pieces, so there will be an overlap or join depending on customer preference. If you want a join trim accordingly so it lines up or simply overlap.
- Trimming may be required on edges depending on placement and preference, can either be tucked or trimmed with a knife.
- Please note that the plastic parts being wrapped with vinyl may naturally shift or move over time. As a result, while the DIY kit will cover the red areas during installation, slight movement of the plastic component may cause small sections of the original red to become visible again along the top or bottom edges.
How long will the vinyl overlay last?
Our products are made using the highest quality automotive grade vinyl with a average life span of between 3-5 years, depending on aftercare and conditions to which the vinyl is commonly exposed to.
I'm not confident installing it myself – what should I do?
No worries at all! Our kits are designed for easy DIY installation, and we provide step-by-step instructions and videos to guide you. But if you'd prefer a professional touch, we recommend checking out our Installer network to find one close to you. If located in Sydney you can book in directly with us via the "Book Install" button on the menu bar.
What if I mess up my install?
Don’t stress — it happens! We understand vinyl can be tricky to work with sometimes, so rest assured if you have trouble or ruin a piece/part of your kit we will happily provide a replacement for only $1 plus the shipping cost* (terms & conditions apply).
Are the overlays removable? Will they damage my car?
Yes, all of our overlays are fully removable and designed with automotive-safe materials that won't damage your paint or factory badges when removed correctly. If you ever decide to take them off, simply apply gentle heat (like a hairdryer or heat gun) to soften the adhesive, then peel them away cleanly. No residue, no damage — just your original surface underneath.
What's your return policy?
21 Overlays accepts returns within 28 days of the delivery date. Product must be returned in the same condition it arrived to be eligible for a partial refund or store credit.

Video Instructions
Clean the area with warm soapy water or an alcohol spray/wipe to remove any dirt, dust or coatings prior to installing. Dry the area completely with a microfibre.
Peel the curved overlay from the backing and start by lining it up with one end of the splitter (as shown in the video). Positioning is very important for this product, you need to push the vinyl it into the recess to conceal the red. There may be some overhang but this should be trimmed away with a knife. Next apply the long straight piece to the middle section using the same method. Repeat the curved overlay for the other side.
Trim away any excess vinyl at the edges for a seamless finish. To further assist the vinyl in adhering you can lightly apply heat with a heat gun or hair dryer. Contact us if you have made a mistake and we will happily provide a solution.
