Our products are made using the highest quality automotive grade vinyl with a average life span of between 3-5 years, depending on aftercare and conditions to which the vinyl is commonly exposed to.
No worries at all! Our kits are designed for easy DIY installation, and we provide step-by-step instructions and videos to guide you. But if you'd prefer a professional touch, we recommend checking out our Installer network to find one close to you. If located in Sydney you can book in directly with us via the "Book Install" button on the menu bar.
Don’t stress — it happens! We understand vinyl can be tricky to work with sometimes, so rest assured if you have trouble or ruin a piece/part of your kit we will happily provide a replacement for only $1 plus the shipping cost* (terms & conditions apply).
Yes, all of our overlays are fully removable and designed with automotive-safe materials that won't damage your paint or factory badges when removed correctly. If you ever decide to take them off, simply apply gentle heat (like a hairdryer or heat gun) to soften the adhesive, then peel them away cleanly. No residue, no damage — just your original surface underneath.
21 Overlays accepts returns within 28 days of the delivery date. Product must be returned in the same condition it arrived to be eligible for a partial refund or store credit.
However no refunds will be provided for inability to install products. We advise you to view our full returns policy prior to purchasing, to do so, click here.
Thoroughly clean the outside of the windscreen, removing any dirt, grease and cleaning residue with a clean microfibre cloth.
Centre the design and adjust the height to your preferred position. Once you are happy with the alignment, use low-tack masking tape to hold the banner in place.
Run a strip vertically across the centre of the banner, extending beyond its upper and lower edges. This creates a centre hinge so you can install one half at a time without losing your alignment. Keep the opposite half secured while you work on the first side.
Carefully peel the backing paper away. Hold the loose end slightly above the glass with enough tension to keep the vinyl smooth, without stretching the banner or distorting the lettering.Starting at the centre, use your squeegee to apply the vinyl progressively towards the outer edge. Work in short, overlapping strokes, pushing air towards the nearest unsealed edge.
Once the first half is securely applied, remove the centre masking tape and any remaining positioning tape and repeat the same process.
If wrinkling, stop and gently lift the affected section before laying it back down. Do not force a large crease flat with the squeegee.
With the main section applied, work your squeegee along the top and sides of the windscreen.
Carefully trim the excess material around the top and side edges, following the outline of the windscreen. Slowly peel away the trimmed excess.Use the vinyl squeegee to smooth and tuck vinyl where needed. Contact us if you have made a mistake as we are happy to help.
